The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office – Government of the Hong Kong SAR in association with Hong Kong Polytechnic University Alumni (Australia) Association proudly present dupliCITY exhibition by Alex Ma to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR and the 10th Anniversary of Hong Kong Polytechnic University Alumni (Australia) Association.

Through multimedia imaging, Alex articulates his work with humour and irony on the similarities and differences between two cultures. He conveys the message that with globalization, human beings are drawn closer to each other, their relationships enhanced by mutual respect, and by appreciating and learning from each other’s differences. His work exemplifies the constant that as we open our minds, we become more willing to accept diversity with ease. Only through experience of the best that each culture has to offer, can we lead a richer and more harmonious life.
